These flowers are everywhere in Quito. They used to be in my garden, but between the dog and the children, they are no longer around.

Green and lush Ecuador

I love the lush green grass in Ecuador. Everywhere we have visited it has been thick and rich with greenery and flowers. When I was in Tbilisi, everything was so often dry and brown and dusty. I didn’t know how much I actually love green grass! This town looked all the brighter because of the greenery. We stopped during a drive to let the girls run around in the park.

My husband often goes to Liga games with my daughter. They wear matching soccer jerseys and eat lots of embanadas. Soccer is huge here, of course, to my husband’s endless delight.

Panecillo in the Clouds

You could get obsessed with clouds in this city, considering you basically live in them. They are beautiful and alive. The Panecillo seems to be the main landmark, you can always figure out where you are when you see her. Here, the clouds surround the Panecillo!
